Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Ihuze Online (“IHUZE”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use our website at ihuze.online and our WhatsApp exam practice service, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using IHUZE you agree to this policy.

In short
  • We collect only what we need to run IHUZE: your account details, exam practice results, payment references and the messages you send us.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We will never ask for your Mobile Money PIN or your password on WhatsApp.
  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time (see section 10).

1. Who we are

Ihuze Online is a Rwandan online platform that connects people with services, including practice exams for the Rwandan driving theory test (“Amategeko y’Umuhanda”). IHUZE is a practice tool only. It does not replace the official driving exam, which is run by the competent authorities. You can contact us using the details in section 14.

2. Information we collect

  • Account details: your name, your email address or WhatsApp number, and your password. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication; we cannot read your password.
  • Exam practice data: the answers you give, your scores, your exam history and the package you chose.
  • Payment information: the package, the amount, the method (MTN MoMo or Airtel Money) and the transaction reference you send us. We do not collect or store your Mobile Money PIN.
  • WhatsApp: your WhatsApp phone number and the messages you send to our WhatsApp number.
  • Umwarimu AI: the questions you type to the AI tutor and the answers it gives.
  • Other information you choose to give: details you submit when using a specific service (for example gifts, advisors or support requests).
  • Usage and device information: pages you view and the type of device and browser, through Google Analytics; a notification token if you allow push notifications; and preferences saved in your browser, such as theme or language.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide IHUZE: create your account, run practice exams and keep your history.
  • To check payments and give access to the package you paid for. An administrator confirms each payment manually.
  • To reply to your messages and give you support.
  • To improve our services and to prevent fraud and misuse.
  • To send you important service messages, for example about your account or changes to IHUZE.
  • To comply with the law.

4. WhatsApp exam service

When you message our WhatsApp number, your messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta and then processed by our automated exam service. We store your WhatsApp number and the data needed to run the service: your answers, scores, package and payment reference. Meta handles messages according to its own privacy policy, which you can find on WhatsApp’s website.

5. Who we share information with

We use service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Google / Firebase: hosting, sign-in, database, notifications and analytics.
  • Cloudflare: running our WhatsApp exam service and Umwarimu AI.
  • Meta Platforms: the WhatsApp Business Platform.
  • MTN Rwanda and Airtel Rwanda: when you pay with Mobile Money.
  • AI service providers that power Umwarimu AI.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if the law or a court requires us to.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use browser storage and cookies, and Google Analytics, to remember your choices (such as theme or language), to understand how IHUZE is used and to improve it. Some pages may show advertising from third parties (such as Google AdSense), which may use cookies under their own policies. You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as we need it to provide IHUZE. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it or make it anonymous, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons, such as payment records.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, database access rules and manual checking of payments to protect your information. No system on the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit who can access it.

9. Your rights

You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to object to certain uses, and to withdraw consent you have given. You may also complain to the authority responsible for personal data protection in Rwanda. We handle personal data in line with Rwanda’s data protection law (Law No. 058/2021 relating to the protection of personal data and privacy).

10. How to delete your data

  1. Contact us at ihuzeonline@gmail.com or on WhatsApp support: +250 791 800 347.
  2. Write “Delete my data”, your name, and the WhatsApp number or email you use on IHUZE.
  3. We may ask you to confirm that the request really comes from you.
  4. We will reply and delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

11. Children

IHUZE is not intended for people under 18 unless a parent or guardian allows it. If you think a child has given us personal information without permission, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Transfers outside Rwanda

Some of our providers (such as Google, Cloudflare and Meta) may process data on servers outside Rwanda. We choose providers that have protections for personal data.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. If we make important changes, we will tell you on the website.

1. Turi bande

2. Amakuru dukusanya

  • Amakuru ya konti: amazina, email cyangwa numero ya WhatsApp, na password. Password ibikwa na Firebase Authentication; ntitubasha kuyisoma.
  • Amakuru y’ikizamini: ibisubizo utanga, amanota, amateka y’ibizamini n’ipaki wahisemo.
  • Amakuru y’ubwishyu: ipaki, amafaranga, uburyo bwakoreshejwe (MTN MoMo cyangwa Airtel Money) n’ikimenyetso cy’igikorwa (transaction reference) utwoherereza. Ntidukusanya cyangwa ngo tubike PIN yawe ya Mobile Money.
  • WhatsApp: numero yawe ya WhatsApp n’ubutumwa wohereza kuri numero yacu ya WhatsApp.

4. Serivisi y’ikizamini kuri WhatsApp

Iyo wandikiye numero yacu ya WhatsApp, ubutumwa bwawe buca kuri WhatsApp Business Platform ya Meta, hanyuma bugakorwa na sisitemu yacu y’ikizamini. Tubika numero yawe ya WhatsApp n’amakuru dukeneye kugira ngo serivisi ikore: ibisubizo byawe, amanota, ipaki n’ikimenyetso cy’ubwishyu. Meta ikoresha ubutumwa ikurikije politiki yayo bwite, wasanga ku rubuga rwa WhatsApp.

5. Abo dusangiza amakuru

Dukoresha ibigo bidufasha gutanga serivisi, bikora mu izina ryacu:

  • Google / Firebase: hosting, kwinjira muri konti, database, notifications na analytics.
  • Cloudflare: gukoresha serivisi yacu y’ikizamini kuri WhatsApp na Umwarimu AI.
  • Meta Platforms: WhatsApp Business Platform.
  • MTN Rwanda na Airtel Rwanda: iyo wishyuye ukoresheje Mobile Money.

11. Abana

IHUZE ntigenewe abari munsi y’imyaka 18 batabiherewe uruhushya n’umubyeyi cyangwa umurera. Niba ukeka ko umwana yaduhaye amakuru nta ruhushya, twandikire tuyasibe.

12. Kohereza amakuru hanze y’u Rwanda

13. Impinduka kuri iyi politiki
